weird spring
Look closely! That was what it looked like the other day, with about 4 hours in between. Yes! That is the same day!
You see, I was feeling kinda blah that day. Actually, I feel pretty blah every day that Fabio is gone, but that day was even more blah.
Willik had a ride from my sister, to school, so I had not left the house, and was home with Phoenix, doing pretty much nothing.
When it was around 11 am, I'd looked outside, and the air was a green gray color. Really! It wasn't the normal grayish day, whenever it rains. It was green! But it wasn't raining at all.
I decided Phoenix could use a nice, long playful bath, so off we went to the bathroom.
Much to my surprise, when we came out of the bathroom, some 25 minutes later, I am amazed and dumbfounded to see snow outside. Not flurries, mind you, but really coming down, and already, everything looks white.
So I went downstairs, and took the snowy photos right from our porch.
Several hours later, my sister came over to bring Willik. We were to go for a shopping outing with the boys, and again, I was surprised. But this time, it was about 60 degrees outside, and a nice sunny sky, with hardly any clouds.
Yes, crazy! Just look at the photos I took at the same spot that very afternoon.
If you were in New York, I want to know, what were you thinking that day?
I was pretty sad; I was thinking all the new spring buds in the trees were going to die, but I have been pleased to see that they've held on, and are continuing to grow strongly, telling Winter, that they are here to stay! Yay!
