winter blues

Kids say the darndest things, right?!
Well, my 3-year-old, Willik, doesn't like the cold weather much. After all, he's so skinny, I think he just can't stay warm.
Anyway, yesterday, it was extremely cold. Something like 17 F. After trying to be as quick as possible in getting the boys into the car, I too got in, turn the car on and was about to take off to school, when Willik said[translated from portuguese],
"Mom, can you please turn off the winter?".
I told him that God made the winter and we couldn't turn it off. And although it was cold, if we didn't have winter, we woudn't have snow and we wouldn't have skiing. And that we needed all the seasons, in order to enjoy different things.

That Willik--he's a true Capelozza, not liking the cold and all... Well, Willik in the car is very interesting. At least he made that comment instead of asking me for the 100th time--"Titia, what begins with A?" And on and on...with many a letter. I love that kid!!

The turn off winter comment is classic. Although I don't want to be in your kind of winter. I wish God would turn on winter a little bit more here in the desert! Such cuties! They are so sweet looking it almost makes you sick! I have enjoyed reading the news from the Mir clan. Hang it there Glaucia!

Willik got the right idea , but since we can not turn it off , what about mix winter and this very hot summer and get some nice temperature outside. Talk to Willik and check it if he got some idea about that.
